(1) Late Mrs. Rani Lakshmibai (Born on 19th November 1828 at Varanasi, Died on 18th June 1858 at Gwalior) – She was an Indian queen, the Maharani consort of the Maratha princely state of Jhansi from 1843 to 1853 as the wife of Maharaja Gangadhar Rao. She was one of the leading figures of the First War of Indian Independence of 1857 and became a symbol of resistance to the British Raj for Indian nationalists. In her childhood she was named Manikarnika Tambe and was nicknamed Manu. She was married to Raja Gangadhar Rao of Jhansi. During the revolution of 1857, Rani Laxmibai fought a war against the British to keep Jhansi free from British occupation, and was martyred on 18 June 1858 in Gwalior while fighting the war.

(2) Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi (Born: 19th November 1917 at Allahabad, Died – 31st October 1984 at New Delhi) – She was an Indian politician and a central figure of the Indian National Congress. She was elected as third prime minister of India in 1966 and was also the first and, to date, only female prime minister of India. Gandhi was the daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India. She served as prime minister from January 1966 to March 1977 and again from January 1980 until her assassination in October 1984, making her the second longest-serving Indian prime minister after her father.
As prime minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi was known for her political intransigency and unprecedented centralisation of power. She went to war with Pakistan in support of the independence movement and war of independence in East Pakistan, which resulted in an Indian victory and the creation of Bangladesh, as well as increasing India’s influence to the point where it became the sole regional power of South Asia.

(3) Late Mr. Dara Singh (Born: 19th November 1928 at Amritsar, Died on 12th July, 2012 at Mumbai) – He was an Indian professional wrestler, actor, director and politician. He started acting in 1952 and was the first sportsman to be nominated to the Rajya Sabha (upper house) of India. He worked as Hindi and Punjabi film producer, director and writer, and he acted in films and television. He is known for his undefeated worldwide streak in wrestling and later being a successful movie star. He got defeated by Brahmdev Misra of Gorakhpur in Calcutta’s Dharmatala. His role of Hanuman in the film Bajrangbali (1976) and in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan made him popular.Singh was inducted into the Legacy Category of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018. He started his career as an actor in 1952 with Sangdil. Dara Singh acted in more than 100 Hindi and Punjabi language films in his life.

(4) Mrs. Zeenat Aman ( Born: 19th November 1951 at Mumbai) – She is an Indian actress and former fashion model. She first received recognition for her modelling work, and at the age of 19, went on to participate in beauty pageants, winning both the Femina Miss India pageant and the Miss Asia Pacific International pageant in 1970. She began acting in 1970, and her early works included the films The Evil Within (1970) and Hulchul (1971). Aman’s breakthrough came with the film Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1971), for which she won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award and the BFJA Award for Best Actress. She next starred in the film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), for which she received further recognition. (5) Ms. Sushmita Sen (Born: 19th November 1975 at Hyderabad) – She is an Indian actress, model and the winner of the Miss Universe 1994 pageant. She is the first Indian to win the Miss Universe pageant. She was previously crowned Femina Miss India 1994 at the age of 18. After winning the Miss Universe pageant, she has worked as a film actress.
