(1) Mrs. Anjana Bhowmick (DOB – December 30, 1944 in Cooch Behar, WB) – The real name of Anjana Bhowmik is Arati Bhowmik and nickname Babli. She has been an actress of Bengali cinema from the 1960s until the 1980s. She made her film debut at the age of 20 in the 1964 film “Anustup Chanda“. Before releasing the film she changed her name to Anjana from Arati. She became popular with the release of her first film.
Her famous movies are – Anustup Chhanda (1964), Nayika Sangbad (1967), Kakhano Megh (1968), Chowringhee (1968) , Mahashweta (1968) etc.
(2) Mr. Harbhajan Mann (Born: 30th December 1965 in Bhatinda, Punjab) – Harbhajan Mann is a singer, actor and film producer in the Punjabi language. Mann began singing as an amateur in 1980 and performed in local shows for the South Asian community while attending high school in Canada. His beginnings as a professional artist can be traced to 1992, he was in Punjab. It was then that his recording of ‘Chithiye Nee Chithiye’ was released and this track became a regional success. He had a breakthrough in 1999 when exposure provided by India MTV and T-Series assisted his Oye Hoye album to become a success. He has starred and produced in seven movies – Ji Aayan Nu (2002), Asa Nu Mann Watna Da (2002), Dil Apna Punjabi (2006), Mitti Wajaan Mardi, Mera Pind-My home (2008), Jag Jeondiyan De Mele (2009) and Heer Ranjha (2009).
