(1) Late Mr. Prithviraj Kapoor (Born on 3rd November 1901 at Lyallpur Town, Died on 29th May 1972 at Mumbai) – He was an Indian actor who is also considered to be one of the founding figures of Hindi cinema. Kapoor began his acting career in the theaters of Lyallpur and Peshawar. In 1928, he moved to Bombay City. There he joined the Imperial Films Company and started acting in minor roles in movies. In 1928, he made his acting debut as an extra in his first film, Do Dhari Talwar. He went on to earn a lead role in his third film, titled Cinema Girl, which released in 1929. After featuring in nine silent films, including Do Dhari Talwar, Cinema Girl, Sher-e-Arab and Prince Vijaykumar, Kapoor did a supporting role in India’s first film talkie, Alam Ara (1931). His best-known performance is perhaps as Alexander the Great in Sohrab Modi’s Sikandar (1941). At that time, drama theater was more prevalent than movies. So Prithviraj Kapoor thought of opening a drama company of his own while working in the film and in 1944 he opened a moving drama company called Prithvi Theatre, which used to perform plays in different cities of India.In over 16 years of existence, the theater staged some 2,662 performances. Prithviraj starred as the lead actor in every single show.

(2) Mr. Amartya Sen (Born on 3rd November 1933, Santiniketan, West Bengal) – He is an Indian economist and philosopher, who since 1972 has taught and worked in the United Kingdom and the United States. Sen has made contributions to welfare economics, social choice theory, economic and social justice, economic theories of famines, decision theory, development economics, public health, and measures of well-being of countries. He is currently a Thomas W. Lamont University Professor, and Professor of Economics and Philosophy at Harvard University. He formerly served as Master of Trinity College at the University of Cambridge. He was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1998 and India’s Bharat Ratna in 1999 for his work in welfare economics. The German Publishers and Booksellers Association awarded him the 2020 Peace Prize of the German Book Trade for his pioneering scholarship addressing issues of global justice and combating social inequality in education and healthcare.

(3) Mrs. Sonali Kulkarni (Born: 3 November 1974 in Pune, Maharashtra) – She is an Indian actress, producer, and writer who predominantly appears in Marathi and Hindi films, in addition to a few Kannada, Tamil, Gujarati and English films. She has worked in over 70 films, both commercial and experimental, as well as some international projects, and is regarded as one of the most versatile Marathi actresses. Kulkarni has won a National Film Award, two Maharashtra State Film Awards, and four Filmfare Marathi Awards, and has been nominated for one Filmfare Award, two IIFA Awards, and one Screen Award. At the age of 18, she made her cinematic debut in the Kannada film Cheluvi (1992). Later, she debuted with Mukta (1994) in Marathi. This was followed by critical praise with Doghi (1995), Daayraa (1996), and Gharabaher (1999), the former earning her Maharashtra State Film Award and Filmfare Marathi Award.
