Rajasthan has become the first state in the country where the poor have been guaranteed minimum income. Along with this, old age pension, widow pension, disabled pension and divorced women pension were reduced to a minimum of Rs 1000 per month under the social security schemes in the state, and arrangements were also made to give an increment of 15% annually.
