Savitribai Fule

(1) Late Mrs. Savitribai Phule (Born on 3rd January 1831 at Satara, Died on 10th March 1897) – A great social reformer who did many works for development for backward females and education field.

She was an Indian social reformer, educationalist, and poet from Maharashtra. She is regarded as the first female teacher of India. Along with her husband, Jyotirao Phule, she played an important and vital role in improving women’s rights in India. She is regarded as the mother of Indian feminism. Savitribai and her husband founded one of the first Indian girls’ school in Pune, at Bhide wada in 1848.[a] She worked to abolish the discrimination and unfair treatment of people based on caste and gender. She is regarded as an important figure of the social reform movement in Maharashtra. A philanthropist and an educationist, Phule was also a prolific Marathi writer.

Sanjay Khan

(2) Mr. Sanjay Khan (Born on 3rd January 1941 at Banglore) – He is an Indian film actor, producer and director known for his works in Hindi films and television. Sanjay Khan made his debut in Chetan Anand’s 1964 film Haqeeqat, followed by the Rajshri film Dosti which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi for that year.

Khan starred in hit movies like Dus Lakh, Ek Phool Do Mali, Intaqam, Dhund, Mela (1971), etc. He co-starred with his elder brother Feroz Khan in the films Upaasna (1971), Mela (1971) and Nagin (1976). He later turned producer and director with Chandi Sona (1977) and Abdullah (1980). In 1990, he starred in and directed the famous historical fiction television series The Sword of Tipu Sultan.

Gul Panag

(3) Gul Panag (Born on 3rd January 1979 Chandigadh) – Mrs. Gul Panag is an Indian actress, voice actress, model, and former beauty queen who competed in the Miss Universe pageant. Panag began her career in Bollywood with the 2003 film Dhoop. Since then, she has worked in films like Jurm and the TV series Kashmeer. Her films include Dor, Dhoop, Manorama Six Feet Under, Hello, Straight, and Ab Tak Chhappan 2.

Naresh Iyer

(4) Mr. Naresh Iyer (Born on 3rd January 1981 at Mumbai) -Naresh Iyer is an Indian playback singer. Born in Mumbai, Iyer is fluent in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and Marathi. Naresh Iyer has rendered 2000 film songs in several Indian languages and has several chart hits to his credit. His rendition of “Roobaroo” from the movie Rang De Basanti composed by A. R. Rehman.
