The Election Commission of India has released the list of all the voters. Any person can go to the Election Commission’s website and check his name in the voter list. If your name is not in the Voter List then you can apply online to add your name to the voter list.

You need the following papers to add an online name to the voter list. – Aadhar Card, Passport Size Photo, Residential Certificate.
To apply online for Voter Id card, first you open the Election Commission’s website. There is a link to the online application for the voter card. Click on that link. A new window will appear when clicking on it. You will see a form in it. In which you have to fill the details of your name, father’s name, state, city village etc.

After that upload the details of all these papers and scanned photos on the Election Commission’s website. When you submit your form by submitting all the details, you will be given a number by the website. This number will be your voter ID card number.
After this, sms will arrive on your mobile within 2 days, so you will know that your voter ID card is ready. You can take your voter identity card in your district’s election office and take it yourself.
After that you can use your voting rights in any election.
