The Bihar government has launched a cheap loan scheme for the youth to buy vehicles. Under which any unemployed youth can apply in the government office to buy a commercial vehicle.
People living in the village need a vehicle for their business or financial reasons, but due to being financially weak, many people are unable to buy a vehicle. In view of this problem, the Bihar government has started the Chief Minister Gram Parivahan Yojana 2021. Through this scheme, 50% subsidy is to be given by the government as financial assistance to the rural people to buy 3 or 4 wheeler vehicles.
Under this scheme, Bihar government also gives 50% subsidy on the purchase of commercial vehicles. The aim of this scheme is to provide employment to unemployed youth. Thousands of youth in Bihar have got vehicles through this scheme. Through which they are increasing their income.
This scheme is being run by the Bihar Government Transport Corporation. Under this, new passenger vehicles with 4 to 10 seats will be considered suitable. Through this scheme, 50% subsidy is to be given by the government as financial assistance to rural people for purchasing 3 or 4 wheeler vehicles.
The Bihar government plans to expand this scheme to larger vehicles like trucks, buses and tractors.
