But on the basis of his hard work and dedication, he made his special identity in the cinema world and today he is a superstar or a big star.

  • Rajinikanth – Rajinikanth, who is called the superstar of Tamil films, was born in a poor family. Rajinikanth was a bus conductor before appearing in the film. Today Rajinikanth is the owner of property worth 2000 crores.
  • Kamal Hassan – Kamal Haasan is also a very popular actor of Tamil cinema. His childhood was also spent in poverty in the village. When he was a child of 6 years, he got a chance to act in some films as a child artist. When Kamal Haasan turned young he returned to the industry as a dance assistant, apprenticing under choreographer Thankappan. After working as a supporting actor and assistant director in some films, Kamal Haasan first got the role of lead actor in the film K. Balachander’s Tamil film ‘Arangetram’ (1973). After that he acted in hundreds of films.
  • Mithun Chakraborty – Mithun Chakraborty was born in a poor family in Bengal. Due to poverty, he became a Naxal militant in his youth, but after the death of his brother, he decided to leave the path of Naxalism and try his luck in the world of acting. After that, he attended and graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. After coming to Mumbai, Mithun had to struggle a lot. When he came to Mumbai, he started his career as a cleaner in a gym. Mithun himself said in an interview that during the days of Struggle, he did not have enough money to purchase food, the owners of the restaurant used to give him food with kindness. Chakraborty made his Bollywood debut with Mrinal Sen’s National Award winning film ‘Mrigayaa’ (1976), for which he won the National Film Award for Best Actor.
  • Akshay Kumar – Today Akshay Kumar, who is called the superstar of Bollywood, was born in a simple family in Punjab. Akshay Kumar used to work as a waiter and chef in the first restaurant in films. He got his first break in the film with a small role of a trainer teaching martial arts. He started her career as a model. In 1992, he first got the role of a lead actor in the film ‘Deedar’, after which he made a line of hits films.
  • Jackie Shroff – Jackie Shroff was born in a very poor family in Mumbai. His family lived in a chawl. Due to poverty, Jackie Shroff could not study beyond 11th standard. He then started working as a travel agent in a local company. Then he modeled for small ads. Dev Anand gave him the first break as the character of the assistant of villain of his film ‘Swami Dada’ (1983). In the same year, famous film director Subhash Ghai gave the role of lead actor to Jackie Shroff for his film ‘Hero’. After that Jackie continued to act in more than one film. Today Jackie Shroff is one of the big actors of Bollywood.
  • Samantha Ruth Prabhu – Telugu and Tamil film star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu was born in a poor family of Kerala. Despite growing up in poverty, Samantha did not leave her studies and entered the modeling world while studying in college. Then she got the role of lead actress in a Telugu film ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ for the first time in 2010.
  • Dharmendra – Dharmendra was born in Punjab in the house of a teacher. His childhood was spent in his village. He won the Talent Award, a competition organized by Filmfare Magazine, for which he was given an opportunity to act in a Hindi film. After coming to Bombay, he got his first break as a lead actor in the film ‘Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere’ (1960). After that Dharmendra made a special place in Bollywood.
  • Manoj Bajpayee – Manoj Bajpayee was born in a farmer house of a small village called Belwa near the city Bettiah in West Champaran, Bihar. Due to poorness of his family, he studied in a “hut school” till fourth standard. Later he went to Delhi University for his studies, where he acted in theater during his studies. Recognizing his acting talent, he was selected for a small role of a dacoit in the 1994 film ‘Bandit Queen’, directed by Shekhar Kapur. After that gradually through acting in many films, his identity was established as a talented actor.
  • Nawazuddin Siddiqui – Nawazuddin Siddiqui was born in Budhana, a small town in Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh. He used to live from an ordinary family. He did his studies till B.Sc Chemistry. After that he got a job as a chemist in a company. But he wanted to become an actor, so he left the job and enrolled in the National School of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi and after passing out in 1999, he moved to Mumbai. Here he struggled a lot. To live in Mumbai, he worked as a vegetable seller and even as a cook. He got his first break from a small role in the film ‘Sarfarosh’ (1999). Even after doing small roles in many films for 12 years, he was not recognized. In 2012, he got recognition from the film ‘Patang’, after that he was counted among the successful actors of Bollywood.
  • Johnny Lever – Johnny Lever was born in poor family in Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh. Lever studied in Andhra education society English high school until the seventh grade but couldn’t study further because of financial problems in his family. He decided to leave school and started working odd jobs, such as selling pens on the streets of Mumbai by mimicking some famous Bollywood stars of that time and dancing to the songs of Bollywood stars. He started working as a laborer in Hindustan Unilever Company. During a Hindustan Unilever company function, he mimicked a few senior officers, and from that day on, the workers said he is Johnny Lever. After some time he started to perform stand-up comedy in musical shows (orchestras). At one of his shows, actor Sunil Dutt noticed his talent and potential and offered him his first movie Dard Ka Rishta (1981).
  • Pankaj Tripathi – Pankaj Tripathi was born in a village of Bihar state. His father works as a farmer and priest. He started his career with a job at the Maurya Hotel in Patna. Later he moved to Delhi to enroll in the National School of Drama, from where he graduated in 2004. After coming to Mumbai in 2004, he got a small role for the first time in the film Run, after that he made his acting debut in Bollywood. Got the title of star.
