In almost every field, a certain age of the jobbers is fixed, after which they retire. Any person can work in government and private sector for a maximum of 42 years. But Bollywood is a place where an artist does not retire after working for more than 50 years. There are many such artists in the Indian film industry who are still active for more than 50 years. Here is a list of such great artists who have been working till date for more than 50 years.

• Mrs. Asha Bhonsle (Singer) – Active in Bollywood since last 81 years. Her first movie was ‘Majha Bal (Marathi film released in 1943) in which Asha sang a song. She is still active in singing program.
• Mr. Parikshit Sahni (Actor) – Active in Bollywood since last 73 years. His first movies was ‘Deedar’ (released in 1951) in which Parikshit played a role as a child actor. He is still active in acting.
• Mr. Jeetendra (Actor/Producer) – Active in Bollywood since last 65 years. His first movie was ‘Navrang’ (released in 1959) in which Jeetendra played a role as a supporting actor. He is still active in film and television serials production.
