Mount Asisi school, Bhagalpur is a Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Board school. It is situated near the main post office of Bhagalpur. It is considered to be the most prestigious English medium school in Bhagalpur.
This school is run by a Christian Missionary. Here online notification comes out in November for taking admission in nursery class. Which has to be applied online only. At the time of applying online, the birth certificate of the student issued by the Municipal Corporation is essential. The age of the student as per the birth certificate should be up to 4 years in the month of April of the next year. Apart from this, caste certificate of the student, combined photo with parents, and passport size photo of the student are required while apply online. A fee of Rs 1000 is charged for applying online, which is non-refundable. After applying the online application, the student is called for the interview along with the parents in the school. At the time of interview, the parent is asked for a copy of the application from the school’s website. So take a print of that copy before the interview date. There, along with the child’s intellectual ability, parents’ income etc. are also asked.
After a few days, the names of the selected children are published online on the school’s website.
The admission charge for taking admission in nursery class of Mount Asisi School, Bhagalpur is around Rs. 60,000 (including dress and book), and the monthly fee for nursery class is around Rs. 3500. Apart from this, a charge of about 1000 is levied every month in the name of extra activity.
In this school, there is also a bus arrangement for the students to come to school, for which an extra charge of Rs 1500-3000 per month is fixed. There is no hostel facility for the students in this school. Here children are first admitted in nursery class. Next year after nursery, the child gets admission in LKG class, then next year admission in UKG class. After that, admission in class 1 is done next year. Every year admission fee is charged at the time of admission in new class.
It has been seen that only those children are admitted in this school, whose parents are either in government jobs or are big businessmen, so that they can afford the expensive education of their children. Therefore, if your income is fixed at least Rs.50,000-60,000 per month, then only you should apply here for the admission of your children. Otherwise, considering your income less than this, your child will be rejected.
