Nawazuddin Siddiqui was born on 19 May 1974 in Budhana, a small town in Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh. His family is a landlord family. He is the eldest among 8 siblings. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. Following this, he worked as a chemist in Vadodara for a year. He came to Delhi looking for a job, one day he saw him, thought of becoming an actor. However, the people forbade him a lot, and asked him to concentrate on doing the job. But he did not agree. He acted in 10 plays to get admission in NSD. After graduating from NSD, he moved to Mumbai at the age of 25 to become an actor in 1999.
Being a student of NSD, he got a small role in the film Sarfarosh in 1999 itself. But that did not make him an identity. Even after that, he got the job of junior artist several times in some films, but his fee was not enough for his livelihood. He also used to sell vegetables to meet his expenses in Mumbai. He even worked as a helper in an office. This continued till the year 2007. He was 33 years old. He was very disappointed with not being able to make a mark in Bollywood, and had planned to go back to his home and take up the job of a chemist. Due to lack of money, he could not even pay the rent of the room, then he took the job of a man cook, and was allowed to live in that house instead of salary. Her first big break came in 2007 in the film Black Friday.
This film gave him some courage. After this, got a small job in the film Dev D, New York. He got the role of a reporter in the film Peepli Live, which was released in 2010, which was an important character. Indian American filmmaker Prashant Bhargava recognized Siddiqui’s potential and cast him as a lead actor in his 2012 film Patang: The Kite. The film gained a lot of fame abroad. Because of which Indian directors also thought of giving Nawazuddin Siddiqui big roles in their films. In 2012, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s luck shone and he got important roles in the films Kahaani and ‘Gangs of Wasseypur Part 1‘ and ‘ Gangs of Wasseypur Part 2‘. Through these three films, Nawazuddin Siddiqui became the identity of the audience of India. These films made him a star now. After the success of these three films, he became a star actor of Bollywood. After that he gave some superhit films. In many films he did a solo role, in many films he played a second important role. Due to his special acting, his popularity went on increasing in the audience. As of Now he charges Rs. 40 to 50 crores for acting in a film. Apart from Bollywood films, he also acted in South Indian films with veteran actors like Rajinikanth. Apart from some international films, he also played an important role in many web series. Nawazuddin married Anjana Kishor Pandey during the struggle period in 2009, but both of them got divorced in 2020. Nawazuddin has 2 children. In April 2022, Nawazuddin has built a bungalow in the posh area of Mumbai for several hundred crores, where he lives with his two children and other family members.
